Every Switchvox IP PBX system will now come pre-loaded with a Junction Networks' service account and $10 in free IP telephony calls, so users can start making calls immediately after installing the solution. Junction Networks provides VoIP calling services to companies of all sizes, helping create an affordable IP communications solution. There are no minimums or commitments, and customers can grow into as many simultaneous calls as needed, with no expensive surcharges or channel fees.

Switchvox is built from open source software and uses open standards. The IP PBX allows companies to use traditional analog lines, as well as VoIP services for calls. The system can be peered to allow free VoIP calls between office locations, in addition to offering comprehensive reporting tools to monitor the solution's performance in real-time.

According to a recent March 2006 Infonetics research report, IP PBX sales rose 23% in 2005. Analysis firm, TeleGeography, reported that the number of VoIP subscribers tripled during 2005, to 4.5 million users and industry revenue surpassed $1 billion.
